The FSMDB wishes to congratulate the winners of the Human Rights Essay contest. There were 124 essay entries all together, all with amazing and thoughtful ideas and creative content. Here is a list of all the winners:
Elementary school – 1st – 4th grade poster contest: “What are my rights?”
1st – Allerick from Gagil Community School
2nd place – Ashton from Yap International Christian School (YICS)
3rd place – Lifang from Gagil Community School
Elementary 5th – 8th grade short essay contest: “How can I promote Human Rights?”
1st place – Kelilah from St Mary’s School
2nd place – Abener from YICS
3rd place – Jennakah from YICS
High school essay contest: “How can I promote Human Rights in my Community?”
1st place – Desiree – Yap Catholic High School
2nd Place – Leann – YCHS
3rd Place – Lavisia – Yap High School
